TEVFIK ALPARSLAN 'S STORY

I was born in 1975 in BOLU- Mengen, as fourth and last son of Mehmet & Sakine Alparslan. All my family are Cooker....as the result of this, and loving and believing this job, I took the first step as kitchen-bellboy in 1988  in " Nişantaşı Park Şamdan " which is one of the famous restaurants at this times. After 3 years working there, I transfered to Esentepe otel Dedeman. I worked as chef for a year. Then, in 1992, I passed Home Stora as chef de partie. And continue Şamdansa (home jarden) in Yeniköy. In 1993,I started as second chef at Etiler ADRES restaurant which is the famous ones in Istanbul. Along this period, I worked with 5 international chef-2 French, Italian, Chinese and Aamerican.
Then I joined the army.  My military profession was passed as private cooker of General in Ankara Gazi Orduevi.
After the military profession, I returned to Adres Restaurant in Etiler.
In 1997, I started as Executive Chef in Mangie - Maslak. After 1,5 years, I worked as Executive Chef in M&N Brasserie for 3 years. In this period, about 2 months, I was in London and make experiences at different international kitchens.
And now, I'm still working in Reina Club as Executive Chef for about 3 years.
 In addition, I have gone to Londan and Glasgow several times. I trained too many cookers.
Also I made arrangements and study on menu in Bodrum Otel Şamdan, Club Safari, Hangover Restaurant Bar, Park Orman, Liman Restaurant and Evo lunc …..
In short periods, worked with international famous chieves at  London, Milano and Glasgow.  International kitchens have different pleasure.
 I usually prefer Mediterranen, Asian and Frenchen tastes. And I make my work being inspired them. Now I use fusion tecnologies and I'm glad. I continuoslly make different and new foods, I attach importance the taste and appearance my food. I always prefer healthy and fresh vegetable, various aromas, seasonal fishes and imported materials

• 1988-2006 : He worked as demi chef, chef de partie, sous chef and executive chef at the famous hotels and restaurants in Istanbul..

• He made experience in the restaurants  at London, Paris, Milano ve Glasgow in short periods.

• 2003 – 2004 : Tevfik Alparslan worked with 2 Michelin star chef. This is the first in Turkey

• He is the founder of TECC Turc’s Executive Chefs Club.

• In 1999,  He shared his experiments in a seminar at  Conrad Otel.

• 1996 - 2006 :In press, too many newspapers, tv, and journal published written and visual information about him.

• In 2002,  He participated the organizations about international kitchen equipments at The Marmara and Green Park.

• In 2003, He made study on professional cooking, hygiene, and food safe.

• In 2002 –2003 and 2004-2005 seasons, REINA Restaurant was rewarded with him.

• 2003-2004 :He won 1 gold and 1 bronze at international young cookers at London.

• In 2004, his apprentice won the competition which is organized by profilo for cookers under 19.

• Tevfik Alparslan became the youngest executive chef in Turkey. and his success is an example for young cookers.

• 2002 – 2006 : He takes part in several jurries.

• In 2004 : He made youngest and dynamical web site and share his experiment with you.

• 2004-2006 :  He gives courses too many famous people at REINA.

• The young chef made menu to famous stars of the world and praised. such as Uma Thurman, Mike Tyson, Di Giorgio Armani, Efsane Pilot Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso , Ester Canadas, Tim Duncan, Adriana Karembeu.

• Tevfik Alparslan madde different studies at Paris Ledoyen, La Tour D’ Argent, Gordon Ramsay, The Glass House, Ritz Paris,  Al Sorriso, Milano Four Seasons and Londra Hakkasan.

• In 2.International Cooking Chef cpmpetition, He became second of the world and first of turkey.

• He is first single chef in Turkey, who worked at Paris Ritz otel in Vendome palace ,El Espadon Restaurant from 6 to 28 May 2006.

• At 3. International Kitchen Chef competition, He and his team with 13 young members, won  3 gold, 6 silver, 4 bronze medals.which is impossible.

• He is the first one who apply fusion technology in Turkey. He still study on this matter.

• Tevfik Alparslan is presently works as General CEO and Executive Chef at Reina. Also He continue as a advisor on hotel and restaurant.
